Watch the 1990′s comedy Captain Ron. This film was directed by Thom Eberhardt and stars Kurt Russell and Martin Short. A ner-do-well salt happens on a ride,on an inherited sailing ship, quite broken down at this point. And a bunch of land lubbers, and their kids. and after a bunch of funny loops and crazy turns somehow manages to get his clients to their destination, all whilst learning about boats, buy crook and by hook! But not until they’ve encountered Cuba and the Us Coast Guard that saves them from peril. Finding they’ve learned respect for their own ability, they actually long to go sailing as a family!
